Final Essay

CVW final essay
Form my final I’ve decided to create a new Coca Cola bottle. I was going to do the final on a Coca Cola add, but then I found I really liked the idea of making my own bottle. Here at Plymouth I am a marketing major so I am always looking at products to see how I can make them better.
When I came across the idea of doing a coke bottle I was very excited. I have many ideas flowing through my head. Even though it is complete I still feel like there are so many more idea that I could do with the coke bottle.
I didn’t want to change the bottle too much because people recognize coke. Coke is known all over the world. If I had changed the bottle too much so that people didn’t recognize it then It would not be good for the coca cola market.
I decided to keep the colors and make the bottle more plastic looking. We know that companies all over are going “green” so I decided to make a bottle like Poland Springs where they use less plastic so it is better for the environment. I then thought of what else I could do to make the bottle more interesting. Since all flavors of coke are the same dark brown color we love, I decided to make the bottle that color instead of clear.
Working on this project was very interesting and I had fun doing it. It was fun creating the new bottles of coke in photo shop. It wasn’t one of those finals that I dreaded doing. Overall I enjoyed the class and the concepts that we learned.
